Getting ready for Milwaukee

The team is getting ready for the big race in Milwaukee on Tuesday June 12th.  The Milwaukee Mile is a very historic race track so we are all excited to do well at such a famous facility.

First ASA Midwest Tour Truck Race of 2012

Our first race of 2012 was at State Park Speedway in Wausau Wisconsin Saturday May 19th.

Bill Collins qualified 3rd in his #63 truck, Darrell Peterson qualified the #9 in 10th as it was his first qualifying effort at an oval track, and Andy Jirik struggled with the #83 truck and qualified 10th.

In the feature event Bill got hung up on the outside line and struggled with handling and ended up finishing 7th, Darrell had a coolant leak that caused his truck to be a real handful so he ended up 10th, and Andy did not finish due to damage that occurred during his heat race.

It was a tough week end for the team as we did not achieve the results we expect.  But it was a learning experience and we intend to be much better prepared for the next race.
